Membership in the Matteson Historical Congress of America is open to descendants and presumed descendants of Henry Matteson (1646-1690), who came to Portsmouth, RI in 1666/7, and their spouses.  Alternate surname spellings include:  Mattison, Mathewson, Matthewson, Madison, Mattson. Dues are $12 per year, which entitles one to all of the privileges of membership, including a subscription to our quarterly newsletter, "The Mattesonian", access to our genealogical database (through our Genealogists), voting rights at the annual business meeting and a standing invitation to our annual reunion.  

Membership now runs for one calender year from the time you initially join. Membership types include:  Individual, Double (one newsletter, two votes), Individual Lifetime and Double Lifetime (one newsletter, two votes).  Please use the membership application below.  Members are always encouraged to attend the annual reunions and meet all of your long lost cousins.  After all, a "Congress" is just a meeting.
